Fine quality cotton jacquard loom woven tapestry cushion with beige velvet back featuring the Woodpecker design by William Morris.
Cushion measures 33 cm x 33 cm (13" x 13") and has a concealed zip-fastener and removable feather pad.
The tapestry fabric is woven in Flanders by master weavers and the cushion is Made in England.
We also sell a tapestry footstool featuring the Woodpecker design.
Woodpecker was woven at the Morris and Co. works in Merton Abbey in 1885 and was Morris's first design at Merton Abbey for a tapestry. The original tapestry wall hanging can be seen in the William Morris Gallery at Walthamstow.
