Fine quality cotton jacquard woven tapestry cushion with beige velvet back featuring The Hare - facing left - design by William Morris. Has a concealed zip fastener and removable feather pad. This cushion measures 33 cm x 33 cm (13" x 13").

Tapestry fabric is woven in Flanders by master weaves and cushion is Made in England.

The hare features on The Forest Tapestry designed by William Morris in 1887 at Merton Abbey and woven by Morris & Co's three most senior weavers. The Forest depicts scrolling acanthus leaves, a lion, peacock hare and fox amongst wildflowers and is one of Morris & Co's finest tapestries.
