Beautiful glass storage jar featuring the Apothecary's Garden design from 1926 by architect & designer CFA Voysey (1857-1941) as part of the Arts & Crafts Collection from Half Moon Bay Design.

Measures: 12.5(h) x 10(w) x 10(d)cm

Has a compressed bamboo lid.

Recommend wash gently by hand.

The Apothecary's Garden pattern was first produced as wallpaper in 1926. Named after a house Voysey designed in London, it features a rich, repeating patchwork of 17th-century herbal-style botanical "slips" intertwined with animals and garden plants. The design features is inspired by the healing and restorative qualities of plants, reminiscent of an apothecary's garden.

C.F.A Voysey was one of the most influential designer-architect in Britain during the Arts & Crafts era.  Voysey advocated going directly to nature for inspiration.
