V & A William Morris Leicester Glasses Case

A stylish and practical way to store your glasses. This hard glasses case features the Leicester print designed by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co. in 1912. Produced in collaboration with the V & A Museum.

Includes a matching Leicester lens cloth to wipe your glasses.

Case measures: 16.5 cm (long) x 6.8 cm (wide) x 3.1 cm (at the deepest point).

Leicester was designed as a wallpaper in 1912 by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co. Dearle worked for the firm for 54 years, becoming Art Director after the death of William Morris in 1896, designing over 30 wallpapers and 40 textiles.
