Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868 - 1928) was arguably Scotland’s most famous architect and designer. He designed The Hill House, Helensburgh, completed in 1904, for publisher Walter Blackie. The pink rose design on this tray forms part of a stencil pattern in the drawing room at The Hill House.
