V & A Strawberry Thief Organic Cotton Tote Bag

Made using a licensed design from the V & A Museum, this organic cotton tote bag features the Strawberry Thief design by William Morris from 1883.

This handy bag is made from GOTS Certified Organic Cotton Canvas.

The printed design is on both sides and the bag has an internal pouch pocket for keeping items handy and safe.

Measures: 33 cm (w) x 42 cm (h) x 12 cm (d)

Machine or hand wash in cold water separately, do not tumble dry.

Can be folded flat to fit inside a handbag or larger bag.

Strawberry Thief was designed by William Morris in 1883 with birds drawn by his architect friend Philip Webb. Strawberry Thief was inspired by the Morris family efforts to grow strawberries at their home Kelmscott Manor but being thwarted by thrushes who would creep under the netting and eat the fruit. Morris insisted the birds be left undisturbed.
