Fine quality cotton jacquard woven large tapestry cushion with beige velvet back in William Morris The Hare - facing right - design. Has a concealed zip fastener and removable feather pad. This cushion measures 49 cm x 49 cm (19" x 19").

The hare features on The Forest Tapestry designed by William Morris in 1887 at Merton Abbey and woven by Morris & Co's three most senior weavers. The Forest depicts scrolling acanthus leaves a lion peacock hare and fox amongst wild flowers and is one of Morris & Co's finest tapestries.
