Made in England. This cushion measures 48 cm x 38 cm (19" x 15").
The majestic lion features on The Forest Tapestry designed by William Morris in 1887 at Merton Abbey and woven by Morris & Co's three most senior weavers. The Forest depicts scrolling acanthus leaves a lion peacock hare and fox amongst wild flowers and was one of Morris & Co's finest tapestries.
