Beautiful lampshade covered in William Morris Strawberry Thief fine quality jacquard loom woven tapestry fabric in a blue colourway. 

Measures 30 cm (diameter) x 22 cm (high)

Shade will work for a table lamp or a ceiling pendant lamp.  Fixture comes with a white plastic ring which allows you to convert an ES fitting shade to BC. 

Maximum 60 watt bulb recommended.

Made in England.  We also sell a waste bin and footstool in this fabric.

Strawberry Thief was designed by William Morris in 1883 with birds drawn by his architect friend Philip Webb. Strawberry Thief was inspired by the Morris family efforts to grow strawberries at their home Kelmscott Manor but being thwarted by thrushes who would creep under the netting and eat the fruit. Morris insisted that the birds be left undisturbed.
