Golden Lily Tapestry Footstool

This fine quality cotton jacquard loom woven handmade tapestry footstool features the Golden Lily design by John Henry Dearle (1859-1932).

This handmade stool has wood turned bun feet with traditional brass stud detailing.

Measures 35 cm x 35 cm x 15 cm (14" x 14" x 6").

Tapestry fabric is woven in Flanders by master weavers and the stool is Made in England.

We also sell a matching tapestry cushion featuring the Golden Lily design.

Golden Lily was designed by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co in 1897. Dearle was Morris's apprentice, partner and design successor at the firm working for the company for 54 years.
