100% cotton cushion cover with an inner feather pad featuring the Compton design by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co.

Cushion measures 17" x 17" and has a zip opening and piped edge.

Made in England.  Duck feather pad also Made in England. 

Design on both sides of the cushion.

Compton was designed by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co. in 1895. Dearle took over as Art Director and chief designer at Morris & Co. after the death of William Morris in 1896. Dearle began his 54-year career with the company as a 17-year-old shop assistant in the Morris & Co. Oxford Street shop.
