William Morris Golden Lily Glasses Case

A stylish and practical way to store your glasses. This fabric covered hard glasses case features the Golden Lily print designed by John Henry Dearle (1859-1932) for Morris & Co. in 1897.

Includes a Golden Lily lens cloth to wipe your glasses.

Case measures: 16 cm (long) x 5.5 cm (wide) x 2.5 cm (at the deepest point).

Cloth measures: 15 cm x 18 cm.

Made in Scotland. 

John Henry Dearle worked for Morris & Co. for 54 years designing over 30 wallpapers and 40 textiles for the firm as well as stained glass and carpets. Dearle became Art Director at Morris & Co. after the death of William Morris in 1896.
