The Garden Tapestry 142 cm x 90 cm

Beautiful fine quality jacquard loom woven fabric tapestry featuring The Garden design by John Henry Dearle from 1910. This tapestry is fully lined incorporating a sleeve pocket along the top for a hanging rod. 

Fabric is woven in Flanders by Master Weavers and lined in England.

Measures 142 cm (high) x 90 cm (wide). This is a special-order tapestry which takes around 7 - 10 days to order.

The Garden design featured on an embroidered wool door portiere designed by John Henry Dearle (1860-1932) for Morris & Co. Dearle succussed William Morris as Art Director at the firm after Morris's death in 1896.
