Faithful reproduction of a 1930s WPA vintage poster for the United States Travel Bureau promoting Niagara Falls. This view is from Prospect Point Park on the American side of the Falls with the American Falls in the foreground and Horseshoe Falls (Canada) in the distance.

This 17" x 23" poster is printed on 80-pound heavy stock paper using a non-reflective matte finish for a look and feel of the original silk-screen posters.

In 1935 President Franklin Delano Roosevelt established the Works Progress Administration (WPA) as part of his New Deal program to put millions of unemployed Americans back to work. The New Deal administrators believed art could be a part of the daily lives of all Americans not just the elite. The WPA funded various art projects including between 1936 and 1943 the creation of a series of silkscreen posters to promote America's National Parks and tourism.

Comes rolled in a poster tube.
