From Hines of Oxford, sturdy metal waste bin covered in fine quality jacquard loom woven tapestry fabric featuring the Honeysuckle design by May Morris.
Measures 30.5 cm high x 20 cm in diameter. Weighs just over 1 kg.
Tapestry fabric is woven in Flanders by master weavers and the bin is Made in England by Hines of Oxford.
Could be used in a home office, bathroom, study or bedroom.
May Morris designed Honeysuckle for Morris & Co in 1883. She was the younger of William Morris's two daughters. May was a very talented crafts person, designer and artist in her own right and became head of embroidery at Morris & Co. at the age of 23.
